Our Culture


At Agility Health, we use a number of different words to describe ourselves. Growing. Innovative. Flexible. Partnership-focused.

But getting to the heart of who we are - to what moves our entire organization of more than 155 service sites across 20 states nationwide - means looking deeper. At our core is a unifying passion shared by each and every member of the Agility team.

It's service, simply put. We love to serve others, and we believe that serving together means we can make life for our patients, clients and partners better.

Our company began in West Michigan with the vision and dedication of a physical therapist named Gary Nederveld and his first client. Their relationship, built on Gary's commitment to service, came to span more than 40 years. Today, that same commitment - rooted in our company's faith-based values and expressed across more than 1,100 employees, multiple geographies and a variety of care settings - is the basis for our many long-term business relationships and countless patient success stories.

Agility's "servant's heart" means we listen intently to our patients in creating personalized care programs. It means we appreciate that healthcare is local, and that we're here to support our local clients and therapist partners nationwide. It drives the innovation that creates leading-edge practice management systems and custom orthotics.
